Best micro/shelf audio system?

It may not be pretty, but it's hard to beat this guy's features for the price. I got my sister one for Christmas. It sounds surprisingly good as well. A little boomy, but I think it's more her apartment.

The major downer is that the system itself if about 14" deep, way more than most shelf systems.
