Best method for removing HSF from an A64?

Bought a a64 on the boards and whole row was bent as well as a few others. I know many have trouble removing the big ole HSF of the processor, esp those that use goo or artic silver.

removing the HSF?
the stock HSF should just be pull up on clamp, push down on one side of clip, push down and pull out to release, then lift off heatsink.. I've never had a problem.

If the thermal paste creates suction between the HSF and CPU just twist it side to side a couple times and gently pull up.
