Say I want to rent a movie to watch on my PC without driving out to Blockbuster, and I don't rent enough to make a monthly service worth the money. What would you say is the best service, preferrably something online so I can download and watch immediately? I know there's that Vongo thing, Wal-Mart has something, or maybe I should just pay with my CC and download via BitTorrent? There are so many options. Just looking for something that allows pay-per-use and gives me a DVD quality file to watch at least a couple times.

from what I've seen, you jsut can't beat netflix.

Limited amount of viewings, only work for a certain amount of time or something like that?

true on demand is very immediate but they dont have a great selection. I think we beat them in that department.
yep you download the file, you can keep it up to 30 days and from the time you click play you have 24 hours to watch as many times as you want

Also, why do you need the 30-day thing if you have the 24-hour limit from when I press play?

The 30 days is so that you can watch it whenever you want within a month. But once you watch it once you lose it in 24 hours.

some people may want to download a bunch of movies before traveling but not watch them all immediately

ahh because the studios dont want the file to stick around for a year, they gave us the deadline of 30 days
