best memory?

hello, i have decided to purchase a gigabyte GA-K8NNXP...what do you think is the best maker for RAM, and exactly what type should i get if i want two 512 mb rams? (i have an amd athlon64 3000)

This is a link to show which module I suggest that is supported for your board, but it is just my opinion and doesn't actually mean its the best, but it is a good quality memory and is supported by the motherboard manufacture.

Wow, that is expensive...

If you aren't into overclocking...Standard name-brand PC3200 RAM will do.

I assumed he wanted a high quality ram. It is expensive, but if he doesn't need to overclock, he can then go with a value ram.

And if he wanted to overclock, Mushkin level I or II PC3500 or Kingston Hyperx PC3500 would work best IMO.
