Best Memory for NF7-S and Mobile 2500+ ??

get the corsair, there the best out of all these ram

You'll be better off getting either Corsair XMS or Mushkin Level I with an NF7-S. For some reason, although it's good ram, some people have had problems with Kingston ram and an NF7-S. OCZ is also good ram, but it doesn't overclock as much as either the Corsair or the Mushkin (and the Corsair OC's farther than the Muskin).
 
Don't buy the GeIL unless you're willing to vdimm mod your motherboard. It take 3.0-3.3 for it to start to stretch it's legs.

I don't know, because the Corsair XMS overclocks better (higher). That's what I would buy, if I had the money, that is.
 
Why don't you just get none of the above and go for some of the BH-5 chipped Kingstons. You won't find better for the price...anywhere. 1 GB (2 x 512 mb) of Kingston BH-5 chipped RAM goes for 212 dollars and free shipping. There are a few guaranteed models for BH-5.

It's WInbond BH-5 chips for 220 dollars U.S. for (2 x 512mb), what more do you need to know? HyperX with BH-5 is the best that you can get at virtually any price.

I got mine, as KHX2700/512, but the KHX3000/512 is also mostly BH-5. Mine hits 201 Mhz FSB on 2.8volts at ultra tight settings. Many on Xtremesystem Forums hit well over 200 Mhz FSB on Ultra-tight timings, for instance: Xtreme systems member Namtaru, posted pscreenshots of Memtest86 passes with 240FSB 1:1 2-2-2-11 on DFI NFII Ultra, and 2 x KHX3000/512.

Results for you may not be the same, but bang for the buck, you cannot beat them...

I don't believe that any HyperX with BH-5 chips are still available. Prove it (with a link), so I can send back my CH-6 chipped memory, before I open it. Please.😀
 
Hey guys how would 2 of these sticks from Best Buy be with this combo

Kingston HyperX 512mb PC4000

They seem like a great deal since they sell for $185 a stick at NewEgg. I would think they would
give a person room to overclock pretty well.

Im thinking about buying this very same combo and want to decide in the next couple of days so I can get in on this memory if its going to work well
 
Your system will not take advantage of PC4000 (AMD Right?). You would be wasting your hard earned dollars. Also, be careful, many articles on the net (and here at Atech itself) discuss that while PC4000 RAM maybe CAS3, cannot do CAS2 at lower speeds. I think a target of PC3000-PC3500 will suit you well. Stick with what people have been mentioning. Corsair or Mushkin.

This is BH-5.

It is available, right now, on many different websites. Look for KHX3000/512, KHX2700/512, and any 1gb kit that doesbn't have an "A" in the part # (IE: KHX3000A/512). Just over 200 dollars direct from Kingston with the promo code, for 1 GB of KHX3000/512.

For those that aren't in the "know". Winbond BH-5 chips are the most sought after because of their overclocking ability. It doesn't matter what they are advertised as, they are all the same. The differences lie in the PCB and manufactuing tolerances of the manufacturer that uses the Winbond BH-5 chips in their products.

Before listening to rumors, you should check with people that have it in their grimy paws.
 
I bought Corsair XMS, but I didn't get it in a TwinX pack. If you get the modules from the same place you should be fine.
