Best Memory for ABIT KT7-RAID w T-Bird?

I have been having stability probs with my setup. What's the best quality memory for this setup (but also not too expensive)? I have a feeling my memory is the cause of the stability problems. Thanks!!!

I'm using Memman Mosel memory on mine and it's been running real good. 🙂

Also a lot better than the PNY stuff I had earlier.

I doubt corsair ram is good for the KT7-RAID

The Corsair Value Select VS128MB133.

1 slot filled @ 133 MHZ - system is stable (tried in each slot, all okay)
2 slots filled @ 133 MHZ - system is unstable
2 slots filled @ 100 MHZ - system is more stable
3 slots filled @ 133 MHZ - system won't boot - black screen
3 slots filled @ 100 MHZ - system boots - but unstable

Scratching my head why my board can't be stable.. Plunked down 512 MB worth of Corsair RAM (Note, these are not the value selects but the real deal). They are TOSHIBA chips, CM654S256-133. Corsairs Memory Compatibility webapp states that they are compatible with the mainboard (recommended). 2 x 256 MB Chips.

The answer to that question

1 slot filled @ 133 MHZ - system is stable
2 slots filled @ 133 MHZ - system is unstable - win2000 won't boot
2 slots filled @ 100 MHZ - LO memory drive setting - stable

All in all, the BIOS settings were CL3 for the RAM, and 8/10 NS setting.
(defaults)

Considering that CRUCIAL lowered their RAM prices that's compatible with the KT7-RAID, if anybody buys 2 256, let me know if you system is stable at 133 MHZ.

Bobstopper, if you want to save cash get the ram from pccost. I bought 3 sticks of the 256MB for my brother and it runs fine at cas3 on the abit.

Abrasion,

I just received my Crucial memory 3 days ago. I have been throwing everything at my machine now, and it hasn't crashed (knock on wood). I really think my stability problems had to do with cheap RAM. I definitely will never go cheap again.
