Best memory for Abit IP35 Pro?

Folks,
I am using (motherboard is Abit IP35 Pro, CPU is Core Quad 9450, Win7 32) 2 GB/RAM (1 GB each slot):

Those are my specs:

It's a Corsair XMS2 CM2X1024-6400C4, DDR-2 800 MHz, 4-4-4-12 latency, from what I recall.

I am thinking about buying more 2 GB, which means a single 2 GB memory.

What would be my best choice?

And from what I remember, I have selected this model due to latency 4-4-4-12. I believe some source told me it was faster than 5-5-5 for example.

Will it make a difference if I buy a 5-5-5 this time?

If you're adding memory, buy a 2GB kit (2 x 1GB) of the same or similar (speed & voltage).
That will keep your configuration running in dual channel mode.

I am thinking about selling what I have... so it will be a new purchase, that's why I need to know what memory will be the best for this system.

I have essentially the same setup as you
see my sig for the memory I run (very happy with it)

although you might be better off looking for a ddr3 motherboard/cpu setup and just upgrading
depends how much you wanna spend

I got this kit

gskill 2 x 2gb
F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ

running for like 3.5 years. overclock good too.

i have some RAM for sale. g.skill 4gb (2 dimms), 4-4-4-12, 1.8v. really good stuff.
i actually have 2 kits for 8gb total. i used it in my Q9550 P45 system.

here's the link. check out the awesome reviews 😉

PM me if interested.

btw, noticed you're on 32 bit. i believe you'll only be able to use up to 3-3.5gb.
I got a warning for this kinda stuff.

Kinda looks like someone singled me out but watch it cause you may be the next one. 🙂
