Well, I always blindly assumed that Windows Media Player was the best and never really checked what was out there. So I did some researching this weekend and tried a ton of different Media Players. The one that I ended up finding that was PERFECT was something called Zoom Player. If you go to the site, the first thing you might note is that the screenshot skin looks ugly. Well, the good news is that it has multiple skins, one of which happens to be a light blue. I like the blue skin, even though I think it could be much better. The real reason I like this player so much, is that the layout of it is so perfect for watching things in window mode. It is wrapped around the main display, the seek bar is easy to click/drag and informative as to the time, and the playlist is a sidemenu that pops out and allows you to easily drag more movies in. It seems to seek a lot faster than WMP and has a ton of options to change, such as what occurs when you click in the display area, double click, right click, etc. The skins can also change the entire layout of the display, buttons / etc.
