Just want to know which model cards contains s-video 7 or 9 pin din which supports component adapter. Must be pcix16 form and should be able to hand directx10 at least. Everyone mentions card models with component support but they have different versions with different connectors and it is impossible to find the ones with the proper din output or component output. Then is a direct adapter necessary. I have 7 pin to component adapters already. Or is the vga connector or dvi connector adaptable? External converters only impede performance. Radeon has some models but knowing which version has the din is impossible. Sellers picture cards wrong and list wrong specs. It is very frustrating. Need card for media server which is low profile case and needs handle hdmi video.

At this point in time you're going to have to go digging through the used video card pile to find anything with an analog DIN connector. Those stopped appearing on video cards once HDMI gained traction. I cannot recall seeing anything newer than a GT(X) 200 or a Radeon HD 4000 containing such a connector.:|

I'd strongly suggest looking into a VGA to component adapter instead. http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10114&cs_id=1011407&p_id=8668&seq=1&format=2

Newegg.com almost always has real pictures of the actual card for each different model, not just some stock photo of a random video card. So if you can find some old model there that still has svideo out it should be safe to buy it.

Or try placing a WANTED ad in the For Sale / For Trade forum here. People have old used cards gathering dust, cheap.
