I have pc3200 crucial that runs at cas3 or 2.5 512mb

I want to get a GB and was thinking of buyuing something lower latency, and selling the crucial

I would like to spend under 200$ but don't know if this is possible. This is not a dual channel board.

I have a Soltek Nv-400 l64 qwhich is nforce 2 single channel, so how important is the low latency?

So what would be my best solution?

Crucial, despite not claiming to be low latency, will actually do some pretty tight timings (according to a few reviews I've read). I'd just get another stick from Crucial and be happy with the bargain price, great service, and super-reliable RAM. Latency doesn't cause any really huge performance jump; it's just another tweak to get your system running its fastest.

That said, I'm running a stick of Corsair XMS...

I can only get my Crucial down to cas 2.5 it wont run at 2 unfortunatley.

However crucial is far from a bargain right now. Its 93$ .... + tax so almost 100 I could get hyper X for that price. I have no idea why crucial thinks they can charge that price right now.

If I wanted somethign that would just do 200 mhz I could get buffalo for 79$

Crucial simply offers no value at this point. It may be quality, but it offers no value.
