I also have a similar setup. Though I'll maintain that eye candy is only 10~20% of a game. I've played (tried out) countless games with Great graphics over the years but due to the lack of other elements that make a game good~great, the game went on the shelf after about 1~2 hours play.
80% of your game searching should be for something that's "fun" to play. The other 20% should be for the eye candy.
I enjoyed Gothic 2, though the engine is a bit dated.
DX2 looks good, though I haven't resolved an issue with the "spots" yet. I think that game was designed for GeForce cards being it flashes an nVidia logo when you start the game.
Like one other person said, pretty much any new game you buy is going to look pretty good. So I'd be doing more research of if a game is "fun" or not in making my decision to buy or not.
