I like my G5. If I wanted to go wireless again I would probably get a G7. The G5 is very smooth, well-built, comfortable to hold and use. I find the adjustable DPI to be a big benefit when I am working in Photoshop, or playing games. I've had it about six months, and it's easily the best mouse I have owned. The only complaint I have is the excessively stiff, fabric-wrapped cord. It has that neat overclocker wrapped-cable look they were going for, but it doesn't like to lay flat on the desktop.

G5 is an awesome mouse, but expensive...
MX518 is probably the most valuable mouse, as it isn't very expensive and is still a good optical mouse.

is the Mx 1000 a good mouse? Wireless is fine and well so is corded. But I
think the G7 is great. What are the pros and cons.

G7.

Biggest gripe is having to change the battery pack every day but really it's not a BFD. ;)
