Hey everyone, I just got my AGOIA 1600+ today, and am ready to try it out. I plan on leaving the CPU locked for now, and just pusing the FSB a little at a time, hoping for around 1800+ speeds for now. I need a sink/fan that isn't too loud (Planned on the Coolermaster HHC-001, but it's too loud), can handle quite a bit of overclocking (eventually going to run the system constantly at 2100+), and is locally available around the San Jose/Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area. Sorry, I'm quite new to Athlons (coming from a 400mhz P2). All the help is appreciated... thanks!

Personally, I find the Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu, with the 4500 rpm fan to work great for pretty much any Athlon.

I decided to go for overkill and went with the HHC-001. Good or bad idea? The AS3 is already drying on it and the CPU...

I just checked out your HSF online and it looks very nice - all copper and a lot of fins (more surface area). With AS3 that should be one great cooler! More expensive, for sure, but if you can afford it, then all the power to ya!

Check out SVCompucycle. They're located in San Jose, you can pick up your order, and they have good service. :)

Err.. nevermind. Saw that you already bought it. :\
