No way was Superman IV > Superman Returns....

I liked Superman Returns alot better than the later Supermans. I didnt mind Superman III too much but IV was a deal breaker .

I guess I give Superman Returns so much despise becasue it could of been so much better. I don't want to discuss the many flaws it had for fear of spoiling it for someone but man did it stink. I'll have to rewatch Batman Begins again.

That Brandon Routh guy did not fit the part. He was way to scrawny and wimpy looking. He looked more like an underwear model than Superman :| Lois and Clark had no chemistry, lots of plot holes ,and they man superman a bit TOO powerful (he had problems stopping a plane but could life an entire island laced with kryptonite??? Come ON!).

I thought he was pretty good. As for the plane, I think the idea was that he was trying to stop it without crushing it or harming the people inside.

it was kinda slow how he lifted that island (it was all one big chunk of the crystal), he also did "recharge" his powers before doing that.......on the plane part, well it was kinda falling really fast, and he just gotten back from that long ass trip.......
