If you're just streaming and web browsing, Ubuntu should work for you (I've got it on a 400 Mhz, it's slow but bearable). distrowatch.com includes listings on many, many different distros, and there must be one that suits your purpose.

It's possible to do a minimal install of Ubuntu with just a lightweight Windows Manager like Fluxbox or XFCE. Those would run much, much better than Gnome or KDE on that system.

Thanks, I'll look into that (PC is intended for wife's g-mother). Coming from an MS background, changing the window manager is a foreign concept =)

128M of memory is going to be painful no matter which distro you try, get some more memory.

By ran, what do you mean? There's no way you used anything graphical.
Flux Box will work on his PC just fine. Infact as long as he doesn't multi-task he can even run The Gimp on that box. Flash and firefox, however, might be noticably slow but my vote is for anything based around slackware if you know what your doing or debian sarge if you don't.

Too bad fluxbox sucks
You just have a bad attitude towards anything you don't use, don't you?

I did use fluxbox for a bit and just didn't like it. I don't really care either way what other people use, but it's still entertaining to see some people's reactions =)
