My wife and I just ordered two 32GB iPhone 4's from Verizon tonight. What's the best case out there that's slim fitting? I plan to pocket my phone, she will use a purse.

Thanks

Seido innocase cases are hard rubberized and about as slim as you can get with protection, like 1mm added thickness, they also have good protection versions too. Otherwise your looking at invisible plastic cases that provide no impact resistance. I like mine.

Does it have to be a case? Cuz those invisashields do a good job of protecting and they are just a layer of skin for your phone. They are like those thin plastic shields in that they provide no real impact resistance but they do protect from scrapes and such.

supposedly the cases solve the antenna issue. I use a invizaskin on my current phone.

if anyone has the links to these I'd appreciate it too. Most of what I am finding is for the AT&T brand or not clear if it's Verizon.

i've had the iFrogz Luxe Lean since the day I got my phone and its awesome. It doesn't add much bulk at all and i haven't had any of the antenna issues.

My friends ended up getting the same case when they bought their phone. Won't really help with severe drops, but is good enough for me.

it actually ended up being really nice so i am not in any rush to get a new one. i want the switcheasy rebel capsule one but it still isnt out for verizon phones yet.

also, that antenna issue is super duper blown out of proportion. i had my phone and used it a few days w/out any cases and never once had any antenna issues. i think it had more to do w/att shitty service.

I've heard that the buttons on the verizon iphone4 are alittle different than the ATT ones, so apparently you shouldn't get anything that has individual button holes cut out. Try to find one that has a large cutout for both buttons... or something like that.

Problems with my Apple Bumper:
-Rubber makes it difficult to pocket and retrieve (especially with jeans)
-Opening at the bottom only fits the original USB cord...nothing else
-Headphone jack is recessed and limits compatibility with some headphones
-Phone no longer stands on it's side

...but it looks OK.

I want to combine it with something like this:

I went with the Griffin Elan Form Graphite for myself and a cheap Elago S4 case in white for my wife. She's going to Japan in May for a few weeks and wants to shop for one there.
