Best, least expensive way to upgrade my phone?

I'm locked in a contract with T-Mobile for 6 more months and want to upgrade my phone(want to get something with a camera on it). The phone that I have right now sucks(Samsung S105). It has a low volume, vibrator isn't strong enough, and gets crappy reception. What's the best way to go about this? Iv'e read in the past if you send in an old defective phone, most of the time they'll send you a new, better one, although that's assuming the model you sent in is discontinued which I don't think mine is yet, and there's nothing really wrong with my phone.

You should ask if they have an upgrade plan that you can get into, usually if you have had your phone for X amount of years they will give you special discounts on upgrades.

u could get an unlocked gsm phone, 🙂 and plop ur sim into that.

k700i is suppose to be a pretty sweet phone. just make sure your t-mobile area is 1900mhz equiped.

Well iv'e only been with them for 6 months, and I don't really want to upgrade my plan(if anything, I would downgrade it since I use nowhere near the minutes I'm given). I was sort of hoping there was some kind of loophole somewhere where I could get the phone I want for free or at a discounted rate, I guess not.

I guess the best place to look for a phone is Ebay?
