Best LCD Monitor under $300?

I have about $300CAN to spend (before tax) and I'm looking for some reccomendations for a monitor. I don't think I really have a use for anything over 19". I do alot of web design, graphic design and internet surfing and I occasionally do some gaming. Thanks 🙂

Look about half-way down here: LCD Guide

There are a couple of there recommendations that should fit your needs.

Then you just need to find them in Canada, which can be a chore sometimes.

ViewSonic VG2021m Black 20" 8ms LCD Monitor Newegg $249. If you realy want smaller, there are some 19" version available from Viewsonic. I have had several monitors from them and never had a complaint.

Damn, I'd really love to grab that 20" Viewsonic... I just measured the space on my desk though and I don't think it would be big enough 🙁
Any thoughts on the Viewsonic VX922? It seems like a good choice for a 19"... am I right?

lol... I suppose that's one option 😛 I'm just thinking the 20" would be overkill... right now I'm working on a 15" LCD (and I have been for the past 2-3 years)

I've just been looking at the Samsung 931C and that seems like a really good option too... any comments on it? I can't seem to find a review 😕

I have a broken TV, Cell phone with poor reception, Cell phone that is broken, and a DVD player that can not play a whole disk with out freezing all made by Samsung, I would recommend choosing again!

20" may seem big, but once you use it, you would wonder how you ever did with out it. 19" to 20"" is also not a huge jump, if it would fit or you are up for some wood working it would work well.

Go for a higher end Viewsonic 19", but that is based on my opinion!
