Ok I am looking for a new LCD, I gave my mother my VS VA712b and need something that is decent. I downgraded from two 1800Xl's to a 7600GT so playing at extreme resolutions is out of the question. I was thinking of maybe a cheap Sceptre 20 inch widescreen LCD? What is the difference between 19 inch widescreen and 20.1?

Few other questions.

I have used DVI and analog and at this time I can barely tell the difference, maybe with very low low sized text but then again who uses less then 6 point font? Any proof that a DVI connection looks better or just a bunch of huff?

I am a little confused on pixel pitch, if anyone has a explanation as to what to look for in a lcd it would be great also.

Last question is, will a 20.1 inch monitor bring a huge benefit over a 19inch?

Any help would be appreciated as I am a total noob with displays and when LCD's cost 2,000$ I would play with any CRT at the time. I looked a the LCD guide on top but nothing I saw really stood out.

**EDIT I am thinking about this one? Sceptre Widescreen Monitor

Speaking only from what I've read on review sites and such, I would say stick with a 19" if u are using a 7600GT.
The higher resolution on a larger screen may make some games unplayable depending on what detail setting u are using.

I have a Hyundai B90A 19" 8ms LCD and I love it. They run about $250 on newegg.
They do NOT have a DVI port, but still gives a very crisp and clear picture.
Office Depot sells these if u want to see one in person. Got mine there on a rebate deal for $189 :)

I've also heard that the Benq FP91G+ is nice and it DOES have a DVI port.
They are currently $220 on newegg. They don't have the aesthetics of the Hyundai though.
