A Dell? Are you kidding? I absolutely love my Eizo Nanao L565 17", which blows away every Dell I've seen (we have Dells at work, various models). The 17" models are less than $500 now, and I think the 18" ones are about $600. I haven't paid too much attention because I have no interest in changing screens right now.

Dell 1800FP...can be had for under $500 on sale. Great for gaming too

OT question: I just got a new dell 2001fp, and i want to enable vsync cuz there is substantial tearing in cs. but the stupid cats i'm using won't let me do it, it only offers up "application preference". any ideas?
