best LCD for $800?

hey all... looking to buy a new LCD

Image quality is my number one concern, in other words sharp text, good colors and as little ghosting as possible....

It will be used in a dual monitor setup, with the 2nd monitor being a 19" iiyama CRT

So far I was leaning towards the new samsung 172T (17inch), for about $600

any thoughts / recommendations?
 
If I were you, I would pounce on one of the Planar LCD deals that seems to come along every week or two over @ dell. I have a 19in, and it is stunning. There is a little ghosting, more in certain games, almost none in some. Overall, it is an awesome monitor for gaming and everyday use.
 
I second TheWart. Dell monitors kick ass. In reality, I think most of them are just rebadged Samsung. Check them out.
