Hello ,

I'm going to buy a All-in-one for home-use and student use(10 papers /week) so I need a high quality All in one printer , Please suggest some printers that have high DPI in scannnig and printing.
sometimes i need to print Pictures with high quality(although it couldn't be same as special Printers for photo but it can be significant).

Until now I find some items but I accept your suggestions :wahoo:

HP LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw All-in-One Color Printer
HP M476nw LaserJet Pro Wireless Color Laser
Lexmark CX410e Color Laser MFP
HP Officejet Pro X551dw Printer

which one? If none, what is your suggestion?

Features I'm looking but not important:

Auto-duplexing
Wi-fi
printing,coppying and scanning A3 or A2

Thanks

My choice would be the Lexmark. The Officejet Pro is not a laser. Be sure and look at the cost of the color toner carts. That's what can eat you up. Also, take a look at Xerox and Brother.

I wouldn't buy HP anything, but that's just me. I wouldn't buy Lexmark, either, from the few customers and vendors I know that have them, and their experiences.

I'm a Canon guy, I have both a B&W laser and a color laser, my B&W is about 3 years old and has not given me problem one. I've pumped about 6 or 7 print carts through it, at least 10000 pages. While the Canon carts are a bit expensive, I get knockoffs from Rosewill at Newegg, they work very well... I've only had one that I had to return.

Canon has some pretty aggressive rebates going on, just make sure you pick a model that has all the features you want. The model I bought was just one model below the wifi one... :( ...but it's wasn't a deal-breaker for me, especially with a $300 rebate!

The color one does pretty well, it actually has more features/capability than my B&W one but has lower overall print speed (because of the color capability.)

The only other thing I would say would be to echo what Corky said... stay away from inkjet printers. With the price of good laser printers, I don't see any reason to go inkjet ever again.

I highly, and I do mean highly, recommend the HP Office Jet Pro x576dw. It is a lightning fast wireless workhorse that produces good quality output, scans quickly and reliably, faxes similarly, has a reliable document feeder that never jams, duplexes quickly and efficiently, and is just plain good. I have 2 of them. They just work.

Forget laser, this beast is faster, and better. $409 on Amazon.

The Epson workforce printer, the one with the big tank, its a 4630 or something like that, is a reliable inkjet that is often cheaper than laser. Epson uses piezo electric ink heads, and hp and canon, use thermal print heads.

Anyways, if you go laser, I have a Samsung color laser, its been reliable. I would recommend, Samsung, Canon, or Brother, for the color laser. Most have pretty high dpi for scanning, what you really need is something that can do 1200 dpi printing at the minimum to get decent photos.

The 576 uses some crazy new technology. There is no moving printhead, the ink cartridges are as wide as the paper and each line is printed instantaneously (Google HP pagewide, there is a white paper that explains it). The pages fly out of this printer, yet look really good.
