Title says it all. It will be mainly used for Microsoft Office, Internet browsing, etc. I really don't know much about laptops. I was thinking Dell, but we went to Best Buy and saw a couple decent ones.
 
Dell XPS M140. Go look on Dell.com under laptops. When configured appropriately (remember to get 1GB of RAM, and TRUELIFE!!), it's absolutely amazing. My dad recently got it, and for a Pentium M at 1.73GHz, amazing, and TrueLife just adds to the brilliancy of the build. Get it, you won't be disappointed.
