Best Lanscape design software

Heh-heh.

LANscape, or LANDscape?

I wonder if that name has been used before? It's kind of cool.

Sorry. I can't help you with landscape software. Most of it that I've seen on the shelf appeared to have been developed by amateurs. I would think that a good package would be very interesting to use, though. There are landscaping extensions for AutoCAD, but I'd also bet that they cost an arm-and-a-leg -- not to mention the initial cost of the core software package!

These guys appear to offer extensions to AutoCAD and standalone design software.

Some other links I found while searching:

http://www.punchsoftware.com/masterland.htm

http://www.gardencomposer.com/

http://www.growitgold.com/

Plus this link to a landscape software review and landscaping information site. I don't know whether or not they are independent of all of the vendors whose software they test. But there might be some useful information there.

It looks as though there's a wide variety of software out there, some of it with features that sound pretty interesting. I hope you find something that works for you.
