Best LAME Settings?

I did a search on this and found a few, but would like more. I want to encode at 192. What are the best settings with lame? Thanks

Don't bother encoding at 192. Use VBR with the following settings with Lame version 3.88 only:

-V1 -b 128 -mj -h --athtype 3 --lowpass 19.5

These are not my settings but the ones suggested by r3mix and just about every other decent site. I have tested these settings thouroughly and my mp3s sound great and the file sizes are about the same as encoding at 192 or maybe less. Figure on a little over a meg a minute with these settings.

I use CDex, settings :

VBR 0
High Quality
Min 128kps
max 320kps

that sound about right. just notice the VBR 0 is same as VBR 1 (highest quality seting is not implemented yet)

has anyone tryed the new VBR formula in 3.89 alpha 4?
