I don't know if it makes a difference which KT-133A motherboard to use, since I believe all of them use the dreaded 686B southbridge. But for people who are using the Soundblaster Live! along with USB devices, is there a particular board that is more stable/compatible than others?

Iwill KK266-R with the latest bios update, no issues but I replaced all of my SB Lives anyway.

I've only received one suggestion. C'mon, I know there a ton of people out their with these boards and who use a Soundblaster Live! and USB devices.

'Guess I'm a fair portion of a ton, but you haven't flashed the secret handsigns so you can't be let in on the answer! :)

SoundBlaster problemS seem largely resolved in recent BIOS's, and I haven't yet decided if my USB toys are ecstatic with the KK266R or not. Running MicroMerde OS's it's a challenge to decide if you're facing nuclear- or Redmond-based meltdowns. By the time I figure it out, new technologies will have obsoleted silicon wafers.

Not sure about the SB Live because I am using a Philips AE, but my Iwill KK266-R USB works even at 167FSB! My Abit KT7A-R USB ports would not work right even at default speeds.
