Best KotOR mods?

Any opinions whicha mods ate the best? KotOR 1 only please.

Check gamespot, under KOTOR downloads. There are a couple of mods, one which supposedly allows you to play as a Jedi from the beginning. Personally, I thought the game was great without mods at all. I havent tried any of those listed on gamespot.

I think the mods to restore a lot of the lost content to KOTOR 2 were much more popular, and it needed them, because the plot was full of holes and the ending very unfinished. I was going to try these mods, but had trouble installing them, so never tried it.

I regularly checked up on those, but they had seemed to have stalled. I guess they are now finished, I'll have to check them out.

KotOR 1 - never played it with any, and last time I looked they were mostly tiny cosmetic changes like a tweaked lightsaber model.

KotOR 2 - played part of the DeadlyStreams restoration mod but got sidetracked by other games. What I played of it was interesting but not at all essential, it was kind of like watching the deleted scenes on a DVD, more for a second playthrough IMHO.
