Best kids DS games?

I'm buying a DS lite for my daughter for her 6th birthday. There are lots of kids titles for the DS, but obviously the games I consider good do not really apply to her age group 🙂 Anybody else have kids with a DS? What games have been really good and which ones to avoid? Also, which accessories are must haves for the DS? I'll at least get her a case for it... i've heard mixed reviews though on whether things like screen protectors are worthwhile or not.

For 6-year olds, I would suggest NERF armor for the DS. My wife's 9 year old cousin and my 5 year old nephew have both broken DSs because they have dropped them. The NERF armor gives you some protection.

My 6 and 3 year old enjoy Mario Kart DS, Mario Party DS, Kirby, and any other game that looks kiddie like Nintendogs or Drawn to Life.

I actually read through this thread, but I only saw a couple of actual titles mentioned.
Thanks for the input. I'm going to give her drawn to life and either nintendogs or build-a-bear workshop for now.... then maybe get her another one for Christmas.

Nintendogs is a higher quality game, she'll definitely enjoy it, especially if she likes animals/dogs and let's face it, there are very little people in this world who do not like cute dogs, let alone little girls who do not like cute dogs.
