I recently decided to upgrade my home monitor. I've done a bit of research on the best 4k IPS monitors (under $700) and boiled it down to these two.
Dell Ultra HD 4k P2715Q
Amazon.com: Dell Ultra HD 4k Monitor P2715Q 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor: Computers & Accessories
BenQ BL2711U UHD 4K
Amazon.com: BenQ BL2711U UHD 4K Designer Monitor for CAD and Animation Design: Computers & Accessories
I work as a front-end web developer and do 90% of my work at the office, but I could potentially work from home in the future. Mostly though, I'd be using it for media, movies, and the web on my macbook pro at home. I also don't play any pc games. Aside from aesthetics these monitors seem identical to me and I can't seem to decide which to choose. The BenQ is newer so there's not much in the ways of reviews/comparisons for it.
So any thoughts? New contenders welcome
