Yeah, those are what sold me on it. I have this nasty habit of pulling my electronics out of my pocket as I walk, then I stumble and they shoot out of my hand onto the ground a few feet in front of me. If this case can protect it from that, which it appears it can, I will be a happy camper.

Yep. That has happened to me a couple of times too.
My list of iPhone accidents.
I was running through Denver Airport at full tilt for a flight that I really didn't want to miss and my 2G iPhone in it's Agent18 case flew out of my jacket pocket, slid literally 30 feet across the airport tile and had no damage at all.
I was laying tile in the bathroom and had my 2G iPhone fall about 5ft. off the top of a step-ladder onto tile. It wasn't in a case. The corner of the phone dented slightly but no other damage.
I was listening to music while working in the garage and had my 2G iPhone perched on a cabinet about 7 ft. above a concrete floor and I bumped the cabinet while moving a ladder and it fell about 7ft. while in an Incase Slider case. The stereo jack was bent so that it wasn't circular and some headphones had problems with it but it still worked with Apple headphones.
I got out of my car and fumble-fingered my iPhone in a Slider case and did this juggling routine while I fumbled the phone madly trying to keep it from landing on the ground. I caught it but I decided I wanted a case that wasn't so slippery.
I bought an iPhone 3G used and carried it around Europe in a Speck case. The case was some funky girly color (pink and grey, I think), sold that pretty fast. Aside from the color, I really liked the Speck case, but I think they are a bit expensive for what they are.
And now I have my iPhone 3GS in an Incase Protective Case and I'm happy. Works well, no more juggling, no more sliding if it's on my dashboard.
