Both have drastically changed how we look at the world at large. Both have contributed to the shrinking of the world to the "global village" that it is today. Both have drastically increased the pace of all other technological invention and innovation that proceeded it. But I give the edge to "electronics" for making the more fundamental and wide-reaching changes.
