Hello,

I know hardly anything about PC hardware. So I need your help. I am getting a gift for a friend because he has helped me do some maintanence for my car. I wanted to get him an Intel processor+motherboard combo. I know, a lot of people say AMD is better, but you cannot convince him to believe it. What is a good Intel Processor, maybe 2.66Ghz to 3GHz processor, with a good motherboard to go with it? And where is it cheaper?
