Best infrared keyboard solution

I am looking for a method to use an infrared keyboard. Is it best to go for a stand alone solution or one integrated with the moboard?
 
Go RF wireless. No worry about line of sight. Personally, I have 2 Logitech cordless desktop keyboard/mouse for my systems.
 
Logitech sells a RF wireless keyboard called the iTouch. I used to have one until my stupid brother spilled Pepsi on it. I was even able to type when the keyboard was in a different room, which was way cool....

I just don't buy expensive keyboards anymore. They always end up getting broken by someone in this place.
