I've read numerous posts on individual video cards but I have not found any posts on which video card manufacturer is the best. This of course is somewhat subjective but I would like to get some opinions out ther from all of you who know worlds more than I do. So sound off on which manufacturer you would or would never buy from.
 
I would have gone with BFG personally if I hadn't of gotten my PNY for so cheap. I can't use my warrenty anymore but the real lifetime warrenty and suppotrt of BFG is amazing.

I have a MSI 6800GT, which isn't bad, but not the best. I would have an evga, but Gameve.com screwed me over.

I saw a picture of their unique heatsinked 6800Ultra which never made to the markets cause NVIDIA wrent guarenteeing sparkle on reliability of NV-40 cause a few RMA's would sell sparkle.

The best i think is Leadtek, Leadtek all the way.

Thats true by every way u look at it. They could have extended to ATI cards but they are sticking to Plan A all the time and making reliable cards for the masses. I've been mishandling my Leadtek Ti 4200 for more than 2 years, even modded it 4 times and yet its working.

Leadtek is also the oldest player in the game.
 
i think asus is very good... have been using their gf4600 ti for 2.5 years, nothing went wrong... and theirs is the only agp nvidia 6800 ultra which is single slot
 
Hey, thanks for all the replies. So far it looks like Leadtek and BFG are the most supported brands. I think i will confine my search to those two manufacturers.

I only ask this because I purchased a eVGA 6800 GT and I could not get it to work. I tried numerous fixes I've read in these forums but to no avail. I had to RMA the card but Newegg could not give me a new one so they refunded my money (props to Newegg for thier fast and easy service). So I am off to look for a new card....thanks 🙂
 
ummm i just got a BFG, and love it, its great, but i havent had it tooo long so i cant tell you about lifetime reliablity, but i heard many a bad things about xfx...so stay away from them... asus is good too, i use there motherboards, and can safely say im sure there video cardsa are top quality as well
