What form factor?

I can only speak for the Fractal Design Node 304. It's a mini-ITX case and it can hold six 3.5" hard drives. No hot swap capability, though, which might be preferable for a NAS. I'm currently using it as an HTPC case but will likely turn it into a NAS if/when I upgrade.

Are you wanting an actual HTPC case, meaning one that fits in with other A/V equipment or just a case that you can shove a bunch of drives in?

Yeah +1 to Xavier...

Need to know:

1. what form factor on motherboard
2. how many drives
3. how quiet do you want, this makes a hugh difference because if you dont care about noise or size, we can probably point you to a few off rack supermicro systems which can be converted easily to do freenas / Unraid immediately at the cost of your ears lol.
