I have a silverstone LC03v case.

See the link for an airflow diagram of my case: http://www.systemcooling.com/sst_lc03v-06.html

I have two 60mm rear fans (exhaust) and one 80mm front fan (intake). As you can see, the CPU and heatsink sit right in front of the exhaust fans. I have an Intel Bad Axe mobo with an E6300.

I measured the amount of clearance I have for a heatsink and here are the dimensions:

Height: 4"
Width: 5"
Length: 5"

I was thinking that a Zalman 9500 would be a good fit if I got the fan to blow the hot air from the CPU straight to the exhaust fans (so in this case the fan would blow the hot air from the CPU to the rear).

However, the Zalman 7000 or possibly 7700 also caught my eye b/c they are more likely to fit the height requirements.

Any other suggestions?

I'd say you should mount a Zalman 7000Cu into it. Small, short and quiet.

I just looked at a review of the Zalman 8000. Is that a better heatsink? It looks very nice and I like the short height.
