Like the title says. Another area I'm a n00b in. Any suggestions or comments on what's good to look for? The camera has a "drain" function on it.

Easy there chief....some of us just forget to or are busy doing multiple research items...just finished searching about CD-R's. Then I googled it.

Anyway, rechargeable is spelled incorrectly so I probably wouldn't have found this thread very easily. (I searched for battery charger, rechargeable battery, rechargeable batteries). It's possible I missed it in the sea of threads...

By the way, thanks for the link 🙂

That thread was interesting, but I was looking for a slightly more diversified list of suggestions (and places to buy them from). The Maha charger and 4 pk is at newegg, so that is nice. Any other suggestions or tips on batteries and chargers for my Digicam?

it doesn't matter. its nihm, not rocket science. both energizer/duracel have 15min chargers these days from target or wherever. good for last minute go. babying batteries is pointless, they are so cheap per charge regardless its nitpicking

I drove down to Walmart and bought 8 Energizer AA and a charger for $20 + tax. They are great and if they crap out anytime soon (which I doubt), another 4 batteries is $10. My camera flash is set for life.

It seems newegg or thomas supply is the best place to get them. Any other major e-tailer carry them?

thomas distributing has a better selection as well as pricing. their 2300 maha battery and charger kit is a great value.

Mine are finally starting to go after about 18 months and ~4,300 pics (no idea how many with flash).
