Best Heatsink For Amd Athlon FX 55

I broke one of the fins on my current heatsink so its spinning and vibrating my whole desk. I was wondering what would be a good replacement for my heatsink? I have a Zalman heatsink but I'm not sure which one I have.. I would like a heatsink that I won't need to go in back of the motherboard for so a Zalman or something similar is what I'm looking for. Any suggestions? Thx!

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64.

It's cheaper, and runs almost as cool as the XP-120. I have a processor like yours and it really doesn't produce much heat, being only single core.

i think im going to get the SI-I20..what would be the best thermal paste/fan to get from here?

Most people in this forum will choose Arctic Ceramique. But, I believe Thermalright already supplies a tube of paste compound in the bundled heatsink.

For a Fan, people tend to like the Yate Loon Low speed Orange fan.

im kinda worried about my gfx cards gettin hot cuz they start artifactin when i play world of warcraft if i dont have my deskfan blowin in the comp.. is there a fan with speed control?

water both cpu and gpu. 😛

Air cant touch water temps.

Read my sticky on a basic general guide, then ask recomendation for parts on this forum.

Ummm... if you wanted the best, its water, but be prepared to spend $$$.
