Title says it all. I'm going to be buying a 1.6A Northwood soon and want to get it to 2.4! What do you recommend?

Use the one that comes with the retail kit. It will cool it just fine.

A bunch of people have gotten it to 2.4 with the stock heatsink. Personaly, I got it to 2.32ghz with the stock cooler, never went above 41C...however, I took it back down to 2.13 so my PCI and AGP slots were running in spec.

I could have pushed it higher, but my main goal with this upgrade wasn't overclocking. It was just a bonus. If I wanted to push it higher, I needed to up the voltage.

I had no idea the one that came with it worked so well! That'd be nice if I didn't have to buy a 3rd party one...

its not that the retail one works so well, its that the processor runs so cool, it dosen't need a whole lot to keep its temps down. I'm even using the standard thermal tape that came on the heatsink :)
