an apple?

That's what I was going to say.

Also, I snack on dry cereal when I'm craving sweets. Golden grahams, or something similar. Only has about 1 gram of fat per cup.

AFAIK though, almonds still have a high fat content, even though they are healthy for you.

But isn't it the good kind of fat?

Yup, and that's what makes them healthy, same thing goes for most nuts.

A stalk of celery with some natural peanut butter on it (Ingrdients: Peanuts, salt) topped with raisins. Peanut butter is iffy, but the natural stuff is way better than the rancid stuff they call jiffy.

Can of Tuna, straight from the can, with a piece of whole wheat bread. That's my afternoon snack 😀

I personally think the new Snickers Marathon bars taste awesome. Both flavors are low carb and low fat and 9g or 13g of protein, depending on which flavor you choose

So if you want to lose weight, eating nuts like almonds are fine even though they're high in fat?

Your body needs fat. Different people eat different amounts based on their desired results. The problem is that most people still eat way too much sugar and other carbohydrates even though they change their fat intake. All those carbohydrate calories you don't burn get converted into fat.

Somebody else can probably explain this better than me.

Yeah the thing about most of the protein products though is that they are expensive. It sucks to shell out $6 for a protein shake mix that tastes bad.

Especially when you could have had an apple and a piece of beef jerky for a snack.
