If by headset you mean headphones and a mic, then I def. recommend these.

Sennheiser PC150s are quite good, esp. for the money.

I just got my pair of Sennheiser PC150's in from amazon today, and they are sweet. I was listening to a song on them and i think i heard a base line on the headphones that i hadn't heard with my 2.1 system, so I would highly recommend them to you.
