I know a couple people that like the PX100s. They're not much more than $30 IIRC. PortaPros are great as well. I haven't heard as much about the 201s and 202s, but the 497s I know are great. I doubt you can really go wrong with any of the mentioned phones.

I've got Sennheiser PX-100's, great sound, portable (they come in a case, they can be folded), so if you're going to use them for portable stuff (MP3, laptop), they're great. You could probably get some under $30, if you look hard enough. If you're travelling, they are great.

I got the Sony MDRG74SL for about 25 bucks. These have been the best in-expensive headphones yet! It folds, comes with an extension cable, and is extremley lightweight. The headphones have amazing clarity and bass (i turned up the bass of my audigy 2 sound control all the way up and the bass was excellent). These headphones beat the wanted price of 35 by 10! this is ur best bet, cheap and perfect!
