Well right now iam looking at the seinnheisser hd 201s and hd 202 and the eh 150
any more thing more which I should add to the comparison from the same price range ...

Which would be the best among the given three.

having a look at the Creatie EP-630.

would that in any way compare to the seinnheisser hd 202 ??

nopes ...
cant get them here in India ...can't buy stuff online too ...

here only sennheisser,creative,altec lancing,microsoft,logitech,bose are available. 🙁

Probably a stretch, but the JVC HA-RX700 or 900 are great for the price (I believe JVC has a different brand name in some other countries). If you can find those, they're amazing (only cost me $35 new).

Well, the HD 202 costs 1500 INR, the HD 205 , HD 415 and JVC RA700 around 3000 INR each.

They are almost double the cost of HD 202 !!! So my parents wont buy me those.

So between HD 202 and EH 150 which would be better .. more in terms of bass, clarity.
I will be using these with the N82, my PC(on board sound card).
note that the EH150 is also off my budget.

I would pick Sennheiser or JVC over the others you mentioned.

what ... ??

HD 202,201,205,415, EH 150 are Sennheiser products !!!

That JVC is way off my budget ....(double my budget.)
So I have to choose between Seinheiser HD 202 and EH 150.

ohh well, they dont have demo's ... I have to order it from the local dealer ... you know I have to wait for a day to get to lay my hands on em.

You could then search through forums at head-fi.org for more subjective impressions of headphones that interest you. They also have a very active For Sale forum (Link), so if you are comfortable with used headphones, your budget may be larger than you think.

Over entries from Creative labs, Altec Lansing, Microsoft, Logitech and Bose.

Does that make sense now?

Well, there might be a God after all...went all these posts without someone using the terms "cans" or mentioning Grado. Bless you all.

Ohh ...
now it does. 😛
I wanted to know which you would choose between the different models of Sennheisser.

That headroom site ranked HD 202 and HD 201 on the same level. I didnt see the over 40 $ range. SO didnt find EH 150, HD 205, JVC RA 700 there

and thats a great site ..Head room.

There are a lot of other threats in the Head-Fi forums covering this same issue. Just search "EH-150 vs HD 202" and you'll see results.

Based on quick research, it seems like most people prefer the HD-201s out of all of those.
