Best HDTV

Whats the best HDTV (around 50" to 65"+) around? I mean best meaning all kinds of features included in it (Bult-in tuner is very optional). No Plasmas/LCD TV's/Projectors, etc... Im not a videophile or anything, but since the HDTV prices have pretty much leveled off with not much price difference between models, I just want to make sure that I get the best for my money...

i was just looking at these and my suggestion is to . . . wait. apparently the new models are coming out soon!

i looked at the sanyo dlp units and they have incredible clarity. problem: they don't do blacks all that well and they have problems with contrast. suggestion: avoid.

the lcd's are very nice, the rear projectors that is. the sony xbr appears to be the top of the pack on that one.

for conventional 3 gun units i'd say the pioneer elite but that's just my opinion. keep in mind that if you have space issues the plasma's are going to be a better choice.
 
Its a matter of taste, but I prefer a front projector. Its just more theatrical, being far cheaper has nothing to do with it.
