Best HDTV tuner?

So my 2 year old tuner has randomly died and I'm considering getting a new one and would appreciate some recommendations/advice.

Requirements:

* Can get HD channels from my coax cable
* Will connect it either to computer or directly to my Westinghouse LVM-37w3se TV

A QAM tuner will handle unencrypted cable HD. Otherwise you will need a pre-built rig with cablecard.

sounds like a QAM tuner is the way to go then... any recommendations? is that site you linked reliable?

I like my Fusion5. The hardware is solid and the LG tuner is really good.

The manufacturer's software is a bit spotty, but it works, and so do MCE and BeyondTV.

Edit: I've had the card for at least 2 years now.

Good luck on the QAM thing. Don't get your expectations too high. You will rarely get all channels.

Check out the HDhomerun and the Avermedia PCIe Combo. I forget the exact name of the Avermedia.

HDhomerun is good and it has two built-in tuners. It's the only tuner that works natively with MCE2005/Vista MCE.
