edit: nm, its only 16-3/4" deep. :shocked: and only 68.4 lbs? omg, thats less than my 42" plasma. 😕 and 16 inches is about the depth of the stand for it. 😕 😕 bah! we need to recommend these DLP's more!! :thumbsup:
 
If size/price ratio is not a concern and with current 1080i/720p feeds, my order of preference is Plasma>LCD>DLP, with the Plasma just slightly ahead of LCD. I've never seen a DLP that's given me a "WOW" factor in image quality.

Agreed, though if you want to hook it up to a PC then I'd say new gen LCDs have a slight advantage over plasma. Mostly, it's a decision based on your viewing environment. In a bright environment, LCD is preferred. DLP has come a long way, and price/size is superior to other techs though also more limited in viewing angle and brightness. Best PQ overall, plasma, with the caveat that LCD tech is competing now (higher end models) and preference is typically specific to the individual.

Agreed as well. Brightness and viewing angle are the two major shortcomings for a DLP. Also, if you factor in 1080p quality and price, I'd go with a LCD. 1080p Plasmas are just a bit too pricey.
