Best HD + DVR Solution

Right now I have Comcast basic cable + Tivo and Comcast's cable internet. I'm looking to upgrade to HDTV in a few months and am looking at the best HDTV and DVR solution out there for the cheapest price. Right now I am paying about $110 total between the 3. Does anyone have experience with Comcast's HD-DVR or Direct TV's version? I have no allegience to any company, I just want the best solution for the cheapest price. In my area I have access to Comcast, DirectTV, and DishNetwork.

I'd get the Comcast Motorola HD DVR. It is not the best but DirecTV is starting to charge $499 for the privilege of leasing their HD-DirecTivo from them. This may change when DirecTV releases their own HD-DVR but who knows.

I've heard good things about DISH's HD-DVR but haven't seen it in action myself.

edit: The good thing is that you have a couple of months to investigate.

DirecTV's current HD DVR cannot be used with their new 5 LNB dishes which is how they are delivering HD local channels. I have the Comcast's Scientific Atlanta 8300 HD DVR and it seems to work fine. I don't really like the interface but I am kind of spoiled by my DirecTV TIVO box. Too bad those morons dropped TIVO. 🙁
