Best hardware to stream mp3s to home stereo system?

Yo,

I'm looking for a device that I can connect to my receiver that will connect to my mp3 server and stream music. I'm looking for something simple that works. Any suggestions?

I can use my Xbox360, but I don't want to have my TV on. I can build a PC but don't want something that complicated.

Hmm. There are quite a few devices like this. Philips offers a streamium. Does the squeezebox offer this function as well?
 
Squeezebox does what I want, but it's a little pricey for what seems like a simple device. The Roku SoundBridge M1000 is cheaper and gets decent reviews. I figured there would be some kind of cheap product out there that would make things simple. Maybe I'll finally put the mini-itx board I have to use and build an extender. Any good deals on 7" LCD touch screens?
