Best Hard Rock Band?

well this is for anyone who listens to hard rock here at the forums...in your opinion which hard rock (not metal) group is the best? didnt include a poll, would have been too broad. my vote goes out for breaking benjamin and system of a down. i would say smile empty soul but they seem more punk/emo ish

I don't really know what "hard rock" means as a genre. But AC/DC is okay.
