I'm looking to get a new hard drive and a USB2/Firewire Enclosure to make it external (since I'm on a laptop). Right now I'm looking at this combo:

eWaggle Combo

I'm looking for the best drive/enclosure I can get for under 200$, but I don't really know anything about the subject. Hard drive size should be 80+ gigs @ 7200RPM. Anyone know of some good brand names and/or sites for this kind of thing?

Thanks in Advance

Also, should I go 5.25" or 3.5" on the enclosure? Do they make 250GB drives that fit in the 3.5"?

That's actually the same one that is on eWaggle. The one on eWaggle includes an 80GB hardrive for only 150$. So is it safe to say that the eWaggle deal is the best I will find.

I only have a 4 Pin Firewire connection, so would I need to get a smaller enclosure than 3.5 or 5.25 in.?

I bought a acomdata firewire + USB2 drive at CompUSA a few months ago for ~69.99 after MIR. The drive was 40 gigs and 5400RPM, but I just took out that drive and bought a 120gig WD I found in the hot deals forum for $40. Total price was 110 for the whole set up, and I have an extra 40 gig I'm using to store some of my MP3s. If you're not in a rush you're better off buying an enclosure at newegg and scanning the hotdeals forum for a HD deal.

I just bought the ME-320 combo enclosure with an 80 gig WD Special Edition HD... The HD was only 95$ so that wasn't bad. In the future, I will definately check out the hot deals forum for cheaper big hard drives.

Thanks for the info
